One thing that happens, probably too often in boxing, is fights with a load of hype failing to live up to expectations. However, on Saturday night, Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn most certainly did not follow that script, as they delivered arguably one of the best domestic fights in British boxing history.

A majority of eyes may well be on the highly anticipated main event on Saturday night, but prior to that, there is a thrilling four-fight undercard to cast your beady boxing eyes on.

As far as rivalries go, they don’t get much bigger than Chris Eubank Sr vs Nigel Benn. Two fights with three years between them—the thought of a domestic rivalry being bigger than this one, at the time, was a crazy suggestion. However, over 30 years on, a rivalry has brewed that could well surpass it in terms of numbers and hype, and it’s between two men very close to home… their sons.
