With the end of 2025 getting closer by the day and promoters’ schedules starting to get finalised for the end of the year, we’ve picked out six fights across four weight classes that we would like to see before the turn of the year.

Ahead of last Saturday night, much of the talk centred on whether the 20-year-old heavyweight sensation Moses Itauma has what it takes to become a heavyweight great. Dillian Whyte was seen as a step up in opposition — arguably the first fighter Itauma had faced who posed a real threat to him. However, in less than 120 seconds, Itauma silenced any doubters who suggested he wasn’t ready for an opponent like Whyte. First-round knockout. Job done.

When it comes to boxing, a crossroads fight is often a vital part of not one but two fighters’ careers. One fighter is usually on the up with a huge future ahead of them, while the other faces the bleak prospect of potential retirement if they lose.

One night, three time zones, three world title fights, one hall-of-famer, one soon-to-be hall-of-famer and one future hall-of-famer, this Saturday night really does have it all for boxing fans.

In terms of a double-header, from two different promoters, with two different broadcasters, over two days and in one city, it really does not getting much better in the world of boxing than this weekend.  One of the greatest rivalries in boxing will come to a conclusion at Madison Square Garden on Friday as Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano battle it out in what will more than likely be the big finale between the pair on an all-female card which features three undisputed world title fights and three more world title fights, two of those being unification clashes. Remarkable. 

With this week's world title action already done and dusted by Thursday morning, the boxing world's beady eyes will all be on Manchester this weekend as Jack Catterall looks to bounce back from defeat against Arnold Barboza Jr when he takes on the undefeated Harlem Eubank on his return to welterweight.

In terms of a random weekend of boxing action, it really doesn’t get much more random – but as randomly exciting – as this one. A super-middleweight ‘interim’ world title fight on Friday, followed by the return of a former heavyweight world champ. Then on Saturday, probably the best fight of the weekend in an all-British European title clash – and Jake Paul headlining a card that features a cruiserweight unification clash against another former world champ.

After a week off last week, big-time boxing returns to the shores of England this weekend as Olympic gold medallist Galal Yafai defends his WBC World ‘Interim’ Flyweight Title against Mexico’s Francisco Rodriguez Jr in what looks set to be a sold-out Resorts World Arena in Yafai’s home city of Birmingham.

Five shows from five different cities across three days — big-time boxing is well and truly back this weekend. We’ll be taking a look at all of the major fights over the next few days, starting off in Newcastle, where the exciting super-welterweight Josh Kelly will be looking to take one step closer to a world title shot against Flavius Biea.

October 7th, 2023… That was the last time former WBA World Featherweight champ Leigh Wood stepped foot inside a professional boxing ring, and this weekend, he returns to action in arguably the toughest test of his career against the former IBF World Super-Featherweight champion, Anto Cacace.

A majority of eyes may well be on the highly anticipated main event on Saturday night, but prior to that, there is a thrilling four-fight undercard to cast your beady boxing eyes on.
